Common Issues

Connecting Strava

Click "Connect with Strava" in the app. You will be redirected to Strava to authorize Rule9. After approval, you land back automatically. No password is shared with Rule9.

Disconnecting Strava / Deleting Your Data

Click "Disconnect Strava" in the app. This immediately removes your Strava authorization and all app-held data. You can also revoke access directly from your Strava App Settings.

GPX File Not Working

Rule9 supports GPX files up to 1 MB. If your file is larger, export a simplified GPX from your GPS device or app. Alternatively, split the route into shorter sectors.

Server Taking Long to Respond

Rule9 runs on a free-tier server that may take 20 to 40 seconds to spin up after inactivity. This is normal. Think of it as the mechanic warming up before the stage. Your analysis will start as soon as the server is ready.

In-App Feedback

Use the feedback button in the app to send bug reports or ideas directly to the team. Include your email if you want a reply.
